Background: My agency was tasked with creating one year's worth of content for 30 small towns in X* to prepare for reopenings following the height of the pandemic.

Involvement: I managed a team of five content creators, developed custom social strategies that were presented to each account, and created the content for four of the destinations.

Challenge: Most towns did not have existing photo libraries, experience running social profiles, or a significant number of tourist attractions.

Solution: Content highlighted local businesses, scenic landscapes, and architecture to educate followers. To sustain their presence after the year, I created an audit on each town's existing presence and provided recommendations with tips on best practices. In addition, we curated seasonal photo libraries by handpicking user-generated content.

Results:

  • 30 content calendars

  • 30 photo libraries

  • 3,120 posts created
